Blackchords release new single and Melbourne dates
Blackchords announce Melbourne shows to coincide with the release of the single ‘As Night Falls’ from the new Aussie movie ‘Blame’ released June 15th
After a busy 2010 which saw the Blackchords play The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City in the UK and support Powderfinger at their last ever Melbourne show at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the band have spent the most of 2011 locked away in the studio busy writing and recording their brand new album due for release later this year.
With the new album pending, the band have been itching to hit the stage again and will be doing so throughout the winter to celebrate the release of their single ‘As Night Falls’ which was written and recorded for brand new Aussie film ‘Blame’ (out nationally June 15th).
The band will be showcasing a handful of new songs from the forthcoming album with some hometown shows with old friends and new at the following dates:

New Australian film, ‘Blame’ in cinema’s June 15th, is a psychological thriller starring Damian de Montemas, Sophie Lowe, Kestie Mortassi, Simon Stone, Mark Winter and Ashley Zukerman and features Blackchords track ‘As Night Falls’.
