Midnight Juggernauts replace Architecture In Helsinki
Midnight Juggernauts, have replaced local band, Architecture In Helsinki as support for Bloc Party’s upcoming local tour.
Architecture in Helsinki were due to support the UK troupe on their upcoming Australian tour, though the band have had to withdraw.
In March, Bloc Party announced they would return to Australia for two shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
The band was last seen in the country at the 2005 Splendour in the Grass Festival in Byron Bay. They return this time with their second and latest album, A Weekend In The City.
Bloc Party will perform on Friday, August 3 at Melbourne Festival Hall and Saturday, August 4 at the Hordern Pavilion, Sydney.
The band will play one show only in each city.
Bloc Party’s debut, Silent Alarm, has sold more than a million copies worldwide including a gold album in Australia.
