MGMT forced to change venues

MGMT’s upcoming Australian tour has proved so popular that the band has been forced to move shows to larger venues.

Tickets to the US outfit’s shows in Brisbane and Perth sold out in less than three minutes.

In response to this, the venues for the band’s Sydney and Melbourne shows have been changed.

MGMT’s Sydney show, which was to be held at the Enmore Theatre, has now been moved to the Hordern Pavillion.

While the band’s Melbourne show, which was to be held at The Palace, will now be held at Melbourne’s Festival Hall.

The shows will remain on their original dates. Current ticket holders do not need to exchange their tickets. Just turn up to the new venue on the night to gain entry.

Tickets to MGMT’s remaining tickets will go on sale at 9am Friday 5 September.
