Blue King Brown support Ash Grunwald and Michael Franti

Blue King Brown are gearing up for the release of their debut album later this year by sharing the stage with some exceptionally talented artists over the coming months. Through August and September they will bring their afro infused reggae beats to support local blues maestro Ash Grunwald and one of Australia’s most loved international touring artists Michael Franti.

Blue King Brown have spent the past few years touring Australia with the likes of The John Butler Trio, Damien Jr Gong Marley and Cody Chestnut, as well as playing festivals in Australia, Japan and Fiji.

The ‘land rights inspired’ debut single Water from their self-titled EP slotted smoothly into high rotation on Triple J and community stations across the country and earned them a prestigious APRA Songwriters Award in 2005.

With a new single getting ready to drop mid August and their debut album hitting stores in October, the vibe surrounding Blue King Brown is buzzing.

Blue King Brown are fast becoming one of Australia’s most captivating live acts! Get to one of these shows….and find out why!
