Aussie artists have it covered


Bob Evans has joined the likes of End of Fashion, Lior, and Dan Kelly in recording tracks for a compilation album due for release later this October.

The new album, No Man’s Woman (a tribute to women in voice) will be launched at this year’s LEGS 11 concert in October.

End of Fashion, Lior, Dan Kelly and Expatriate will all perform at the October event.

They will by joined by Missy Higgins, Blue King Brown, The Waifs, and Paul Kelly.

Higgins will perform for the first time with the Sydney Youth Orchestra along with a number of guests.

No Man’s Woman will be released in October through Dew Process. The album features reworked versions of tracks by PJ Harvey, Sinead O’Connor, Tori Amos, Fleetwood Mac and Madonna and more.

Tickets to the second annual LEGS 11 event will go on sale Friday August 31st through ticketek.com.au or legseleven.com.au.

Proceeds from ticket sales will help raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. LEGS 11 will close off the Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October.

The event will be held on Friday October 26 in Sydney’s Domain.
