Whitley Announces Tour

September 15 is the release date of the Whitley debut album, The Submarine. To launch the release of the album Whitley will undertake a voyage across the country all the way to the middle of the desert.

Having literally just stepped off the regional road with Josh Pyke, and out of the golf cart at Splendor In The Grass, Whitley will now tour his debut album for the first time with his full band – a wonderful and eclectic mix of sounds and musicians.

While the tour will take in a collection of intimate venues, as an special bonus Whitley has been added to 3 special outdoor festivals. The band will play Marrickville Festival in Sydney, the Valley Fiesta in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, and the amazing Wave Rock Festival in Hyden WA where the opening ceremonies include the AFL Grand Final live on a big screen with the incredible Wave Rock as a backdrop.

Joining Whitley on all headline shows will be special guest Seagull, with appearances from Laura Imbruglia and Tom Cooney along the way.
