Bluesfest 2011 announces a solid first line-up
Bluesfest is always a standout festival in the Australian music festival calendar.
Bluesfest is the ‘safe house’ of the festival scene; it ALWAYS has an epic lineup, offers 5 days of solid musical enjoyment and always leaves you over stimulated.
2011 Is no different.
The first lineup for 2011 has been announced:
Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, B.B. King, Michael Franti, gospel legends The Blind Boys of Alabama, Ben Harper’s latest project Fistful of Mercy, The Indigo Girls, Rodrigo y Gabriela, The Cat Empire, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Band, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Mavis Staples, Xavier Rudd, Trinity Roots, Little Bushman, Tony Joe White, Indigo Girls, Kate Miller-Heidke, C.W. Stoneking and Jeff Lang.

Tickets for Bluesfest are on sale now with the festival set to run over the Easter long weekend from Thursday the 21st to Monday the 25th of April.
