Triple J announces 2011 One Night Stand
Triple j have announced this years winning town for the 2011 One Night Stand. Last year Alice Springs hosted the One Night Stand featuring the likes of John Butler Trio, Bluejuice, Gyroscope and Washington. This year it is heading to the seaside town of Tumby Bay in South Australia.
Bands listed on the bill will be Birds of Tokyo, Art Vs Science and The Jezabels. One lucky local Unearthed band will also be included on the bill. If you’re an unsigned band or artist from the Eyre Peninsula you need to have your music uploaded to triplejunearthed.com by midnight Sunday March 13 to be in the mix.
This year triple j is also giving away an exclusive VIP experience to someone who needs some musical relief after a rough year. The winner will get to hang with the bands and triple j presenters in sunny seaside Tumby Bay for the entire weekend with two nights accommodation and return flights from anywere in Australia on us.
