The two-day live music festival at Bells Beach is an exciting part of the Rip Curl Pro presented by Snickers.

Easter Saturday and Sunday will see a collection of Australia’s hottest emerging bands take to the stage on the Bells clifftop, while the world’s best surfers are doing their thing.

Lineup:

Kid Sam, The Bungalows, The Villainares and The Foreign Objects are all locked in for the festival, with other acts being announced during the lead up to Easter.

Kid Sam played on Rip Curl’s Torquay HQ rooftop last December at Steph Gilmore’s World Champ party.

The Bungalows and The Foreign Objects are used in a variety of Rip Curl’s video and TV show productions.

The Villainares are made up of surf industry folk, with all members working for different surf companies around the country.

The Rip Curl Pro is celebrating its 38th year this April and music has been a major part of the event since its inception back in 1973. Headline acts such as Silverchair, Faker and TZU have all played at the Rip Curl Pro and the Australian Crawl even sponsored the event back in 1984.

Rip Curl is a keen supporter of local music and continually looks for up-and-coming acts to include in the Rip Curl Pro, in multimedia projects and at parties around the country.

Foxx On Fire and Hot Little Hands are two Melbourne groups that will make the drive down Geelong Highway for the weekend and Rip Curl will also work with local organisation FreezA to give Surf Coast musicians the opportunity to be involved in organsing the live festival.
