The Mess Hall show their ‘Devil’s Elbow’


The Mess Hall are set to release their second album next month as apart of their new label ‘Ivy League’.

The Sydney band will release the Album titled Devil’s Elbow later this October 27th.

Band members Jed Kurzel and Cec Condon recorded the album at Bigjesusburger
Studios in Sydney along with Gerling’s Burke Reid.

The album is also full of exciting surprises as it features guest contributors such as Malcolm Clark (The Sleepy Jackson), Loene Carmen, Justin Kurzel, Simon Ferenci and Ben Cairns.

With The Mess Hall signed with Ivy League earlier this week they place their name next to stars such as Youth Group, 78 Saab, The Vines and Josh Pyke.
The Mess Hall will also be featuring on Ivy League’s 10-year anniversary compilation,
’10 Years in the Trenches’.

’10 Years in the Trenches’ is set for release on Saturday October 20, the album features tracks from The Vines, Youth Group, Red Riders, Josh Pyke, 78 Saab, The City Lights, The Mess Hall, The Stands, Neon, The Silents, Monarchs, Peabody and John Reed Club.

The compilation album also features the new song ‘Out Of My Hands’,
performed by the 1st Ivy Regiment Band and produced by Wayne Connolly (The
Vines, Josh Pyke, Youth Group, You Am I).
