The Boomtown Showdown Is On Again
The Boomtown Showdown is back! And this year the show is hitting the road for an east coast tour. The first ever Boomtown Showdown was in May 2005 at Melbourne’s best All Ages venue – TLC Bayswater. The show was a massive success, selling out of all 600 tickets and being one of the most exciting shows of the year.
So this year, Boomtown Records has teamed up with Myspace, Spy Optic and Blunt Magazine to make the Boomtown Showdown a national tour featuring 8 shows up the East Coast of Australia. With all shows but one being completely All Ages, and with some of the best bands in Australia playing – these shows are sure to be some of the best of the year.
Look out for special guests arriving on certain shows, and a camera being taken around the entire tour for a DVD release at a later date.
The shows will feature some great Australian bands, with headliners Angela’s Dish being joined by The Getaway PLan, In Fiction, Wishful and more.
