Parklife’s reincarnation Listen Out release lineup
If you haven’t herd the news yet, Parklife festival will not be happening in 2013, the festival promoters Fuzzy have announced that they will be replacing the festival with a new touring festival by the name of Listen Out.
The new event is a party, not a festival, Fuzzy say, and will focus its energies on bringing the finest in intelligent dance music (IDM) from around the world to Australian shores, taking place in smaller venues than Parklife did and scaling back its operations in general.
Organisers are focusing on getting a relaxed party atmosphere with fewer stages, no timetable clashes and less people. Listen Out aims to bring quality dance music to four inner city venues across Australia this spring.
Listen Out will be held in Sydney at Brazilian Fields in beautiful Centennial Park, in Brisbane at the Cultural Forecourt, South Bank, in Perth at Ozone Park, and in Melbourne at the Observatory Precinct in the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne.
