Mat McHugh announces solo Australian tour

Mat. McHugh (The Beautiful Girls) Solo & Acoustic presents:

the ‘Go Don’t Stop’ Tour and The Blacktop Diaries

Having left the band behind and taken off on a global adventure alone, Mat. McHugh is not so much reinventing himself as he is rediscovering. It began with a theatre tour across the States and into Canada with fellow troubadour John Butler. It was during that trip, Mat. reconnected with the essence of being a muso – just one man and his music on the road; the only concern, finding the next stage on which to play.

Upon his return Mat. headed into the studio and created the ‘Go Don’t Stop’ solo ep. He then stuffed that in his bag too and jumped the next plane to South America landing in one of his favourite countries outside of home, Brazil. As he moves now through the States, with the blacktop of asphalt trailing behind him, he prepares excitedly for the homeland leg of the ‘Go Don’t Stop’ Tour.

In celebration of this new turn at the crossroads, Mat. also launches The Blacktop Diaries; an ongoing series of musings about travel/self/art/Hemingway/global responsibility and all inbetween. The first instalment set in Rio De Janeiro is ready to transport you now.
