Jamie T has been channeling the Clash, Tom Waits and the Beastie Boys through a modern teenage experience in his Wimbledon bedroom. The fruits of this have been “Panic Prevention” which crashed into the UK top 4 and has made waves across the UK and around the world. You name them, Mojo, Q, NME, Uncut, GQ, The Fly, Notion, Playmusic, Metro, Clash, Evening Standard, The Times, Vogue, all have a stellar review for Jamie T.
Jamie comes to Australia as a solo artist to play two very special club dates at The Ding Dong Lounge Tuesday May 8th and Candy’s Apartment Sydney Thursday May 10th.
“If You Got The Money” is the first Australian single taken from “Panic Prevention” and is a quintessential Jamie T banger, fusing screechy punk rock guitars, flowing vocals and a touch of the Beastie Boys schoolyard humour into a tight three minute pop song. In the UK “If You Got The Money” entered the UK singles chart at #13 and is his highest placing single to date.
