Ex Wolfmother members find a new pack to roll with

slew

Former members of Wolfmother have come out of the wood work announcing a new project.

Chris Ross and Myles Heskett have teamed with Canadian artists Kid Koala and Dynomite D to form new outfit, The Slew.

First performing together in 2005, The Slew released their debut album, 100%, late last year.

Describing themselves as “psych/heavy-rock-drenched”, The Slew, will head out on tour this May.

The Slew Live will feature six turntables with Ross on drums and Heskett on base. This is a concoction set to be leathal in every regard.

Ross and Heskett quit Wolfmother in August 2008.

The pair cited “irreconcilable personal and musical differences” as the reason behind their departure, the band’s website said at the time.

Remaining Wolfmother member Andrew Stockdale has revived the band by adding new recruits.

Stockdale’s Wolfmother released his second album, Cosmic Egg, late last year.

Wolfmother released its self titled debut in 2005.
