Billy Thorpe has died of a heart attack
Funeral details for Australian rock icon Billy Thorpe are expected to be announced within the next 24 hours.
Thorpe, 60, died early this morning after suffering a massive heart attack at his home in the inner-Sydney suburb of Darling Point.
His family was by his side when he died in St Vincent’s Hospital early this morning.
“He woke at 1am feeling terrible. Shortly after that he had a massive heart attack, the paramedics were called to the house, they worked very hard in hospital,” Thorpe’s manager Michael Chugg told the Nine Network.
