The Falls Festival Arts Village is back.

Would you like a side of arts with your already full serving of pleasantries at your summer music getaway? A touch of tai chi with a cup of chai perhaps?
A relaxing night-in with a movie? Fifteen minutes of fame? Or just a good ole belly laugh? All of the above? No problem!

It is an absolute pleasure to announce that back by popular demand at The Falls Music   Arts
Festival in Lorne (Vic) and Marion Bay (Tas) are the quirky and exotic escapades of The Falls Arts Village;
the fun-tastic smorgasbord of the yet unknown talents on The APRA People’s Stage; the relaxing and oft-wacky
Films in the Field (in Tas) and Saturday Night Fever Films (in Vic); and a bunch of funny buggers that
we, in the wider community, call Comedians. We have a glorious posse of talented ladies and gents from both near
and far that shall add even more flavor to your already overflowing serving of tasty entertainment. So, sit back, relax,
and indulge in every delicious treat!

The Falls Arts Village is a beautiful and beguiling festival within a festival that opens its wonderland doors for
you to encounter the likes of; (in Marion Bay) the EGO Massage Tent, Cecil Brown, Leon Ewing, SHED,
Lazlo Steigenberger, Andrew Harper, Snuff Puppets Dancing Cow Show, Die Rotten Punkte, Penny Machinations,
The Shitt Family Puppet Show, Pol The Painter, Feetbus, Shemozzle, Impro Vice, Chill Factor 3, Vardos and the Transylvanian Gypsy Kings, (and in Lorne)
Bogan Bingo, The Suitcase Royal, The Caravan Of Love, The dilapidated Diva, Roadkill Rodeo, Hamlet, Circus Horrificus, Adam Simmons, Body Painter Marlo,

Being a huge supporter of local, homegrown talent The APRA People’s Stage makes its welcome return, playing host to, none other than you! This is the festival
ticket holders chance for a well-earned 15 minutes of fame. We hope to see your artistic charms working the crowd, whether it is with a comedy skit, acoustic croon,
musical interlude, beat-box-off, or a cappella ensemble, the stage is yours for the taking. The stage is almost full, so send your submission (demo / bio) to: Con Kalamaras,
C/ APRA, 3   5 Sanders Place, Richmond Vic 3121.

Perhaps a relaxing night of films tickles your fancy? Reclining in the big top at Lorne at Saturday Night Fever, or at Films In The Field in Marion Bay in the late evenings
for a movie marathon is a great way to turn your festival into a three night sojourn of music, arts and films! So, bring your sleeping bag and pop corn and wind-down
after no doubt, a hectic December! Showing in both states are: The Thin Green Line (Sean Willmore), Howl’s Moving Castle (Hayao Miyazaki), Feel Like Going
Home (Martin Scorsese) Paris, je t’aime (many directors, including Gus Van Sant, the Coen Brothers,   Wes Craven), Soul of A Man (Wim Wenders) and some impressive
animation and bibs ‘n’ bobs from locals Darcy Prendergast (Vic) and Zane Pinner (Tas). (For more info on these gems, check our website.)
