St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2011
St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival has announced its 2011 lineup.
After a huge blunder in Melbourne 2009 resulting in thousands of ticket holders being refused entry into the main stage area; St Jerome’s came back in full force in 2010 promising to have fixed all their problems and securing a new festival location. Their 2010 recovery proved successful hosting names such as Florence and the Machine, The XX and many more incredible acts leaving punters feeling all fuzzy inside.
This years festival lineup is definitely for the indie lovers.
If you are a guy who love to pull on the tight black jeans (that have no doubt caused many awkward moments between 2 males when one has mistaken the other for a girl in tights from behind), have a large collection of black ray ban style glasses, wear uncomfortable pointed toe shoes/boots, smoke because its ‘cool’ and love to flick your fringe out of your eyes then this is definitely the spot for you!!
The 2011 lineup has some stella names throughout such as Deerhunter, Foals, Local Native, Yeasayer and many more.
This solid lineup is set to produce a great day of quality tunes, sunny weather, copious beers and several pregnancy tests.
