Golden Plains 2012 tickets on sale soon

The Ballot for Golden Plains Sixxx is now closed. It was the biggest ever in Golden Plains history – the most amount of people (by a hefty margin) entered in a quest for tickets. Announcing Bon Iver and Roky Erickson early kicked it off to a good start, but the Oct 17 announcement of the rest of the LineUp was The Thing that sent the Ballot Machine whirring into overdrive.
Accordingly, the most amount of people in GP History have been unlucky in the ballot, and so they will be keen to know details for the next two allocations of tickets:
STORE SALES
Happen on Thursday 3 November at the select stores below. PLEASE NOTE: We do not expect the store allocation to last the day at any of the stores. Stores have as many tickets to sell as last year but indications are that they’ll be gone by sundown at the latest.
Golden Plains staff will be on hand from early morning to ensure nobody queues unnecessarily, and to let people know if there are tickets left at other stores etc.
ONLINE SALES
Happen at 11am on FRIDAY 4 NOVEMBER at www.goldenplains.com.au. You need a credit card or PayPal account (with sufficient credit).
OPEN TO ALL COMERS
You do not need to have a Golden Code or be a subscriber to purchase at Stores or Online. There is a maximum of 4 tickets per customer. Golden Plains is for people 18 years of age and older – under 18s must bring along a legal guardian. Good one Dad.
IF YOU WON THE SECOND ROUND OF THE BALLOT
You have until 10pm sharp on Wednesday 2 November to purchase. That’s when the Code self-destructs.
GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY
There is one type of ticket only and it gets you the Full Golden Plains Sixxx Experience from Saturday morning to Monday afternoon. There’s no ticket price increase: it’s $289 plus $9 booking fee and $6 registered postage – camping & parking included. Golden Plains is BYO with no commercial sponsors, a No D!ckhe@d Policy, world’s-best-practice facilities and the lush, spacious Funpark that is the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre.
