Falls tickets selling fast, get in quick!

Along with the below newsletter from the Falls website, I contacted the company covering the press, and got a reply recommending buying your ticket by the end of this week…

On the off chance that you’ve been busy today or just plain forgot, we wanted to send you the heads up – get off your but and get onto it right now!! Falls tickets are selling so fast and judging by today, we suggest you get one by tomorrow to be sure. That’s no marketing spin either; we just want to make sure that our most loyal music lovers aren’t the ones that miss out.

You’ve got a few options; you can buy from www.fallsfestival.com, Ticketek or a bunch of independent stores. More details are available on the website. Each sales channel has a set allocation, and will sell out at slightly different times. We will be updating the website as promptly as possible when the options start to run out so you can check there rather than calling around. Those coming to Tassie from interstate will really need to get onto it as the vast majority of tickets were allocated to independent stores in Tassie – so you’ve only got what is available via Ticketek and www.fallsfestival.com.

Oh, and a final word, we work our butts off to deliver the most accessible and best value festival in the country so we don’t want to see anyone paying too much for a ticket. We all hate scalping so there are a few things we are doing to try to help you. For a start, we’ve limited sales to 5 per person. We’ll also be monitoring advertisements for The Falls Festival tickets and will be canceling on-sold tickets. Don’t waste money on paying for a ticket that isn’t worth a cent.

So there you have it, don’t say we didn’t warn you, grab a ticket now!!
