Falls announces MORE acts
Just when you thought The Falls Festival had finalised the line-up – here they are, back again, to deliver some more gems! Having just been awarded the Best Line Up gong at The Faster Louder Festival Awards, The Falls have gone and added a little more spice to their already rather tasty program in Lorne.
Rocking the tent stage into the wee hours of the morning, for some synth-loving, funk-fusing, phenomena-inducing dance tunes The Falls Festival introduces a whole swag of the finest, most experienced and superb DJ’s.
Getting the party started are; three sets of funky hands from the organically grown dance set that is Art V. Science; the psychedelic disco rap of GAMEBOY/GAMEGIRL; the mix up maestro’s of Aussie dance scene stalwarts John Course and Grant Smillie; Illzilla, fusing their divergent range of hip-hop, reggae, rock and blues into one funky meltdown; bringing years of amazing re-mixes and seamless remakes is the genius of Katalyst Sound System; some high energy tunes from the high priestesses, KillaQueenz; the three-drummer-strong tribal rhythms of Percussion Junction; the ladies that recklessly tear dance floors and hearts apart, The Soccer Mum’s DJ’s; blending socially conscious lyricism with up-beat late 80’s finesse is Sydneysider by way of the US of A, Snob Scrilla; one of the indie club scene’s most acclaimed and favoured bands, The Holidays; genre slaying party starters the Yacht Club DJs and rounding out the tent stage acts with hands in the air party madness, Playing With Knives (DJs).
