Australia’s newest music festival ‘BAM! Festival’

bam

Queensland’s hottest new festival is set to rock the region’s freshest festival venue when it slides into town for three epic days next year. BAM! Fest will hit the centre of the stunning Peak Mountains reserve in October 2010 and bring more than just a serious slice of live music – but also a serious slice of unique entertainment for thousands of revellers. So forget generic. BAM! organisers have instead gone above and beyond to squeeze a smorgasbord of goodies alongside the 50-plus acts over the three days. And through sheer creativity they have also unearthed an all round retreat for festival goers.

Mixed in between the well known acts, local talents and hot blend of blues, rock, funk and pop (the list goes on) will be secret shows, German beer halls, mobile discos in the campsite, give-aways, tai-chi in the morning and even a Medieval demo! It could send you running for your jousting sticks or just running for the mosh pit. But either way the BAM! crew has promised something for everyone and a festival with more than just a bit of bite! Can’t stand a 10pm close? Hate being told by “the man” the party’s over? Well BAM! is a 24 hour a day event and you camp IN THE FESTIVAL.

Watch the sun rise over the mountains as you listen to some of the worlds best DJ’s, enjoy our free morning activities to get you reinvigorated for the day or just laze in your tent while you watch an act on the main stage. No matter which way you look at it we have packed in over 60 hours of entertainment into 3 days!!! The Peak Mountains venue itself is less than an hour from Brisbane’s CBD and features more than 800 hectares of natural forest and parklands. It also boasts a range of wildlife, bushwalking tracks, mouth watering views over coastal and inland regions and just some seriously natural beauty. Couple this with the soon to be released list of ear candy and additional entertainment and you’ve got yourself a festival that looks set to become a highlight of the new year. So dust off the tent, put BAM! in your calendar for October 8th 2010 and keep your ears open for more soon to be released tasty tid-bits!!
