2006 Sunscreen Finalists

2006 has proven to be another hugely successful year for the annual SunScreen music video clip competition, once again attracting a plethora of outstanding entries across the board. Clips for both up and coming and established artists have been streaming on the net over the past 8 weeks and hundreds of punters have logged on and cast their vote.

The votes have been tallied and the organisers are very excited to announce this year’s 16 finalists, all of which will be screened in between sets at the Festival of the Sun in Port Macquarie on December 15 and 16.

Festival punters will choose the overall winners of SunScreen, with an exciting $10,000 production prize pack up for grabs for first place. A $2000 editing package from Red Rug is this year’s second prize, and a one year subscription to Usync will go to third place.

In addition SBA will feature the top five SunScreen finalists throughout the network, creating a huge opportunity for exposure for the selected clips.

The 16 clips to go through are:

Play Hard to Want, Iron On
Addictions, Amanda Baker
I Want to Live, Deepface
Bezerk, Panika
Rollercoaster, Extended Family
Permission to Breathe, Gemma Doyle
