Gabriels Day new album Post Cards To The Independant

Australian three piece Gabriel’s Day start 06 with their new album, Postcards To The Independent (in store independently through MGM Distribution – May 1st 2006). This anticipated release follows their critically acclaimed 2004 debut album Anthems and Intimacies.

Recorded in the London in 05 to reunite with the international skills of UK producers ‘Rainmaker’ (The Clash, Ash, New Order), Postcards To The Independent, highlights the group’s range and sonic progression as a three piece. Linzi Steele’s dynamic drumming and percussion combines with the melodic vocals and intricate bass of Scott Mesiti and the raw voice and layered guitar textures of Dan Simmons. Together craft a distinct sound that connects the art-rock of Split Enz with some confident swagger of British indie and the melodic harmonies of West coast pop.
